Infobite 266: HSE releases annual health and safety statistics

Last month the Health and Safety Executive published their latest annual report of health and safety statistics for 2021/2022.

The annual report by HSE found that 1.8 million working people are suffering from work-related ill health and that 123 workers were killed at work across all industries in this time period. The estimated cost of injuries and ill-health from current working conditions is £18.8 billion.
